ELK Rut 2010
We will meet in West Yellowstone or the Airport at Bozeman Montana. This tour will access the Yellowstone Park area for the annual Elk rut. At this time of the year the Bull Elk gather up a harem of Elk cows and defend the acquired herd with constant bugling and defense of the territory. We will move about the river and grass land range where this activity takes place having our lunches either at the Yellowstone lodge or in West Yellowstone. Numerous other animals will be available to photograph such as moose, swans, eagles, geese and ducks.
