Doug’s images have been published in numerous nature and childrens magazines and his extensive eagle galleries are the recipient of many recent photo awards. After 34 years as an Airline Capt. Doug has turned his attention to developing tours seeking unusual opportunities for clients to photograph. He previously was the marketing manager for a group tour agency in Dallas Texas.

His simple photographic philosophy is that if you go to a known location with capable equipment you will have superior opportunities to obtain winning and unusual images. He has spent his whole career traveling to all parts of the world and has developed photographic tour itineraries based on this knowledge.

Doug shoots with Canon equipment a 5 D, Mark 3, 1DS Mark 2 and his favorite subjects are eagles, puffins & gannets simply any large or fast flying birds. His favorite landscape locations are in England, Scotland and the western United States.
